“while you’re alive, love as much as you can”

we run for reason. the miles have meaning.

this one was special. a community 5k brought together by @pueblitatortillas for a cause bigger than any finish line. all donations and proceeds going to @oralelb, an organization rooted in long beach that has been fighting for the dignity, healing, and empowerment of immigrant communities since 2006. they provide resources, legal support, leadership programs, and wellness services for undocumented and immigrant families across los angeles and california. their work is real. their impact is felt in the same neighborhoods we run through every week.

and that’s what made this run different. every stride carried something. every mile meant something. the energy wasn’t just runners pushing pace. it was a community wrapping its arms around itself. peace, love, and purpose on every block.

this is why we do it. for the people standing next to you who needed this moment just as much as you did. for the families that fight for every single day. for the proof that when a community moves together, it moves mountains.

running gave us the platform. the community gave us the reason. and together we gave it all back.
this is what the miles are for.

we run with you. 🖤🪶
